Blood Diamond

Great movie. I know this movie came out a while ago but this was the first time I saw it. Intense, suspenseful, action packed, emotional, sad, happy. All of these describe the movie.

Even before I saw this movie I felt Leo Dicaprio was a pretty damn good actor.  One of my favorite. Especially after this movie. Dicaprio is a great actor.

I liked him in Titanic but it was when I saw Leo in The Departed that I really realized what a great actor he is.

There is a lot of bad stuff in this world. We all know that. This movie reveals how a lot of the bad stuff is linked to each of us closer then we realize.

Is the stuff we buy at Wal-Mart a good deal because Wal-Mart is really efficient? Or is it because of cheap labor? Why are the toys we buy such a good price? Good business practices? Or is it our demand for low prices forces Target to demand the cheapest toys so the manufacturer in China uses cheaper lead paint to get the Target toy contract?

I really don't know the answer. But it makes me think.
